A Day In The Life: 18th February

As you may (or may not) remember, one of my goals for this year was to take a photo an hour once a month. I don't plan on posting every month to my blog, but I thought the odd one here and there might be fun. I don't promise anything riveting, just an honest little peak at my general day-to-day.

9am: First thing I do every morning - put my face on.

10am: Travelling to the shop I mentioned before a few towns away in the hopes of picking up a dress that's lingered in my mind since my previous visit.

11am: Wandering around the many floors.

12pm: Still wandering. As I'd travelled I figured I may as well take a proper look.

(I skipped an hour here because I was driving and there's only so much you can photograph inside your car!)

2pm: Bob Dylan goes round and round whilst I noodle about on the Internet.
(Also I feel here is a good place to mention: I've recently changed Tumblr accounts, so you can now find me here instead of my old one. I hope to be on the site more frequently now I've gotten my new account sorted!)

3pm: Getting to work tracing out a pattern.

4pm: Cracking on with my illustration projects.

5pm: Still drawing.

6pm: The rest of my evening was spent dying my hair and watching a movie.

And that was basically my day! I cannot wait for some warmer weather so I can spend more time outside, I'm really starting to have the winter blues.

  1. Thats a neat goal. I like to take a picture every night of the sunset, its been lots of fun. I like it when folks share their normal lives, i also really like Bob Dylan.
    have fun!

  2. I love these kinds of post series. I think they are really interesting windows into people's lives and what makes them who they are. That tray that you keep your makeup brushes and perfumes on is so nice, and such a pretty print underneath! That is certainly a brilliant pen collection. Your Blue Meanie drawing is quite incredible! I'd love to experiment with pens like that, or just even colour really. All my drawings are just done with a simple black pen. It would be a nice change to try something different, you've inspired me! By the way, I've nominated you for a Liebster Blog Award. Feel free to join in. If not, it's all fab :)

  3. I think these kinds of posts are so cool! It's really interesting to see what other people's days are like. And oh my gosh that store looks so neat!

  4. Wonderful {Day in the Life} photos of your simple everyday things. I'm inspired by this type of blogging; it's like journaling. Where do you purchase your Copic pens? The photo of your collection/ investment with a rainbow of colours is terrific.

  5. hahah "noodle about"- i love that. and i love posts like this- it's so fun to see an intimate peek into a bloggers life!

  6. thank you for posting! its so interesting to see what people get up to on a regular day. I think its that nosey side of being human - knowing all those silly bits about people we admire. which i guess is why the tabloids and magazines continue to sell!

How is the Norma Tullo pattern coming along? i cant wait to see it!
