There's just no percentage in remembering the past

VEST, BLOUSE, AND SHOES - VINTAGE // DRESS - EMILY TEMPLE CUTE

I haven't felt much up to blogging lately, I feel in a bit of a static period of life where I'm just waiting around for the next chapter to begin. It's a funny place to be, and leaves me feeling like I don't have a whole lot to say. But that isn't to say I haven't been busy! I've whiled away many an hour getting back to my artwork after the forced break that was the accident and gaining movement back to my wrist. I've been rewatching The Monkees (♡ Micky), taking long walks to nowhere in particular, and getting to grips with my new camera after my old DSLR broke. I've also begun my own YouTube channel, a vlog talking about my vinyl collection (aka my most precious possessions). There's a whole vinyl community going on over there that I've wanted to dip my toe in for a while, it feels good to say "Sod it!" to the anxiety and just go for it. It does feel weird having a chat to your camera lens, but I'm slowly getting used to it. Have you guys been up to much lately?

  1. I completely understand how you feel! I am in a strange transition period myself and I haven't been feeling very creative lately with the blog. But I tried to give it some time and not force anything, I think I am slowly beginning to feel more creative again. I had a look at some of your videos, it's awesome you were able to go for it! I am way to nervous to do anything like that. I must say you have quite a wonderful vinyl collection!

  2. Your outfit is so eye-catching and wonderful! As is your beautiful artwork. I am incredibly relieved to hear that your wrist is improving, and I continue to wish you all the best in your recovery. I've been so out of the blogosphere within the past few months, mainly because I've been writing so much for school that I just didn't have the extra strength to give my blog much attention. But hopefully inspiration will come now that it's summer. Also, I'm so excited for your YouTube channel! I'm really looking forward to seeing more videos soon!

  7. I've been in a bit of a blogging rut too lately. It's hard to watch your blog stay idle yet it's also hard to come up with anything to post. Hopefully, we'll both get over this soon. i guess it just comes down to finding something, anything that you find interesting and putting it together.

PS I love your outfit and the adorable mix of colors and patterns.
